No. Masters Surf School offers courses for absolute beginners, intermediate riders, and advanced surfers. Beginner lessons start with theoretical safety training, kite control on land, body dragging, and then board riding – all under certified instructors.

Hurghada offers consistent wind from March to November. The peak season for strong, steady thermal winds is from May to October (average 15–25 knots). Winter months (December–February) still have good days but lighter and less frequent wind. The school operates year-round.

All lessons include: latest kite or sail rig, board, harness, helmet, impact vest, and (for kitesurfing) a safety leash. Wetsuits are provided in cooler months (Nov–March). You only need to bring swimwear, sunscreen, a towel, and sunglasses with a strap.

Yes. You can bring your own kite, board, or windsurf rig. The school offers storage and launching assistance. A reduced “own gear” rental rate applies for using just the beach and rescue service – ask at reception.

For kitesurfing: minimum 12 years old (with parental consent). For windsurfing: from 8 years old with appropriate small gear. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult on the beach.

Both. Private lessons (1 student / 1 instructor) give fastest progression. Group lessons (max 3 students per instructor) are more social and budget-friendly. Private coaching is recommended for first-timers or those correcting bad habits.

If conditions are unsafe or no wind (rare in peak season), the lesson is rescheduled or a full refund is given for that unused session. The school monitors forecasts and will notify you the evening before. Theory and land training can still happen on low-wind days.
